Warren George Anatole passed away on June 16th after a courageous battle with lung disease. Warren is survived by his partner Marlene; his parents Sebastian and Betsy Anatole; brother Gerry (Tracy), sisters Terry Eastman and Karen (Gordon). Warren leaves behind many nieces and nephews who were the light of his life. Warren received the most precious gift of life from a young donor on Friday evening, but his heart could not sustain his recovery. Warren grew up in Ft. St. James and as a carpenter worked in Prince George and Japan. Warren was proud of his Dakelh traditions and he loved hunting and fishing to provide for his extended family. He was always there to help with long hours of canning, freezing and drying. We will remember Warren best as a gifted storyteller whose sense of humour made every visit and gathering just plain fun. He had an uncanny ability to make any wild crazy idea sound reasonable and worth pursuing. A celebration of Warren's life will be held on June 23rd at noon at Kwah Hall in Fort St. James. In lieu of flowers, Warren's wishes are for donations to the Transplant Research Foundation of BC http://www.trfbc.org
