Terrence "Terry" James Voth February 3rd, 1962 - December 14th, 2012 On December 14, 2012, Terrence Voth of Edmonton passed away at the age of 50 years. It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our dearly beloved Terry. Terry was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and lived in Saskatchewan until the age of 7 when he moved with his family to Prince George, BC. While in Prince George, Terry attended Seymour Elementary and John McInnis Junior Secondary and then graduated from Queen Elizabeth Composite High School in Edmonton when the family moved there in 1978. He moved back to BC in 1979 and worked for a few years at odd jobs but later returned to Edmonton and attended the University of Alberta. At U of A, he took courses primarily in chemistry and physics. He has been a resident of Edmonton since that time, but visited his family and friends in BC often. He worked at Celanese for many years as an Operator. Terry then left Celanese and apprenticed as a pipefitter and became a proud member and journeyman of the Pipefitters Union Local 488. During his apprenticeship, he won two bursaries for highest marks in his program. Terry will be missed so much by his friends and family. He was an honest, humble man who was very generous and compassionate. He loved to fish and golf. Terry very much enjoyed spending time outdoors and had recently taken a trip to Europe and was planning on going back soon. He is survived by his Father Reuben (Step-Mother Bev) Voth and Mother, Jo Voth-Doan, and his siblings, Monty, Richard, Corey, Julie (Hubert) Giese, and Lori (Don) Ruggles, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by Step-Father Reverend Samuel "Curly" Voth-Doan, Grandparents Tobias and Louise Voth, Dave and Elvina Goertzen and many close Aunties and Uncles. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 12th, 2013 at 3:00pm at the Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, 10011 - 114 Street, Edmonton, Alberta. Rev. Dr. Gordon Oaks officiating.
