THEXTON, Shaun Christopher November 11, 1971 to December 16, 2012. Shaun Christopher Thexton passed away at home in Grande Prairie, Alberta on December 16, 2012 at the age of 41 years. Shaun was born in Quesnel, B.C. and grew up in Prince George, B.C. At the time of his passing he was the Lead Hand at Canada Cartage in Grande Prairie. Shaun loved information and technology, and his three dogs. One of his favorite hobbies was riding his Harley in the summer and taking road trips. As a dedicated family man, he will be sadly missed by his wife Peggy, their three children, Alishya, Christopher and Autrie-Lee, his Mom, Lynda, his Dad, Mark, his brother Paul and sister Blair, and many loyal friends. Anyone that knew Shaun will miss his sense of humor, loyalty and friendship. He was a kind, generous man who took great pleasure in helping others. His funeral service was held in Grande Prairie on December 22, 2012 and his interment on December 24, 2012. There will be a Celebration of Life in the spring in Prince George and a plaque placed in the Rose Garden at the Prince George Cemetery, so he will be near his beloved Nana and Papa. Date and time of this Celebration will be in the Spring and will be announced as soon as possible. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the SPCA or charity of your choice.
