NORTON , Mary Eileen (nee Checkley) passed away June 15, 2012. Mary is survived by her loving husband Tommy; son Peter (Darlene), daughter Peggy (Cam); brothers Bill (Ev) Checkley and Terry (Vi) Checkley; 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Predeceased by daughter Pam Norton in 1982; parents Bob & Elsie Checkley; brothers Les, Jim and Gordon Checkley. A memorial service will be held Friday, June 22 at 1:00pm in Assman's Funeral Chapel 1908 Queensway St. Prince George, with Peter Zimmer officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice House 3089 Clapperton St.
