It is with immense sorrow we announce the passing away of our very special mother Margarete Angoldt (Wellert). She passed away on March 12, 2013 where she was residing at Polson Care Facility in Vernon BC. Mom was born on July 18, 1922 in Lithuania. She survived many hardships in her early life before immigrating to Canada. After arriving in Canada, life still presented hardships but Mom was a very strong and courageous lady. We lived in Giscome for many years before our parents moved to Prince George for retirement. She is survived by her three children, Helga Ross (Gordon), Rita Beach (Brian) and Edna Kopeck, ten grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and her three surviving sisters, Emma, Lisa and Hilda. Mom was predeceased by our dad Gus Angoldt in 1999, four of her children, Berthold, Walter, Leo and Walda, her parents Johann & Adeline Wellert, two sisters and four brothers. We wish to pass on our grateful thanks to Dr. Gavin Smart, Dr. Splawinski and the staff at Polson in Vernon. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 18th, 2013 at 7:00 pm at Assman's Funeral Chapel. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 19th, 2013 at 11:00 am at Zion Lutheran Church, 180 S. Tabor Blvd. Flowers are appreciated or memorial donations may be made to charity of donor's choice. Condolences may be expressed at www.assmansfuneralchapel.com
