Lou (Lothar) Heise February 13, 1941 to March 9, 2013 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Lou at his home in Prince George, BC. He was born in East Prussia to August and Wanda Heise and moved with his family to Canada as a young boy. Lou was a passionate and faithful man who enjoyed many aspects of life. He loved the great outdoors and spent much time hiking, fishing, hunting, and canoeing. He was a talented wood carver and he loved singing in his church choir. Lou cherished spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his wife and soulmate, Joyce, to whom he was married to for 40 years, his three children, Christine (Jason), Colin (Yoko), and Lisa (Chad), and his precious grandchildren, Noah, Ethan, Kennedy, Kadyn, Jade, and Jeremy. He also leaves behind his brother, Ben. He is predeceased by his brothers, Willy and Dieter. Lou will be greatly missed and never forgotten. A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 15, at 11:00 am at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, 3590 Dufferin Avenue. A viewing will be held on Thursday, March 14, at 7:00 pm at Lakewood First Memorial Funeral Home, 1055 Ospika Blvd. A donation in Lou's memory can be made to the Prince George Rotary Hospice House.
