Kerry Ann Thorpe (McCarville) May 21, 1962 - December 28, 2012 Kerry passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 28. A "one of a kind" lady, she will be sadly missed by all those that she has touched with her infinite caring, her love of life, and her quirky sense of humour. She will also be remembered by a multitude of young and grown kids as "Aunty" or "Grama" Kerry - a lady with boundless love and support for all kids. She will also be remembered by some as the friendly lady who ran the front counter at Ervin's Small Engine. Kerry's life revolved around kids, family, and friends. Kerry's immediate family includes her spouse Brian Mitchell, her son Jason Thorpe, and her vast McCarville family; including her brothers (and families of) Austie, Rick (deceased), George, Allan, Jack, Barry (deceased), Pat, and her sisters (and family of) Cathy, and Paula (deceased). Kerry's extended family and her friends are too numerous to list here - a signature of a good life. An informal celebration of Kerry's life will be held at Blackburn Community Center -2451 Blackburn Road, on Saturday, Jan 5th at 2PM. Anyone wishing to attend is invited to do so. In lieu of flowers, donation envelopes to the Child Development Center will be available at the hall. Anyone who knew Kerry felt fortunate for having known her friendship and her caring. A little bit of Kerry goes forward in all of us. Sadly missed, but never gone in our hearts...
