Robert Heye, CNR Trainman/Conductor (ret.) has "jiggled off down the track" to his final destination. Although his was a life well lived, we are deeply saddened as we wave a final farewell. Bob worked with big cats on the Hart Highway until he hired on with CN in 1950. He transferred to Kamloops in 1970 where he retired in 1986 in 1986. Bob was involved with the UTU, Prince George Lions Club and other volunteer endeavors. He was most appreciated for general maintenance, handyman and pastor harasser at First Baptist Church. He was well known for his (sometimes off colour) jokes. Bobby was born May 25, 1924 in Swift Current, SK. and died August 15, 2012 at home in Kamloops. Survived by his 5 children: Daniel, Roanda (Uwe), William, Roxana (Gary) & Robin (Wendy), grandchildren & great grandchildren. Celebration of life was held August 20, 2012.
