Ernest Bourque December 18, 1936 July 11, 2012 Ernest passed away at the UHNBC at the age of 75 years. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife Viola of 47 years, son James (Johanne), daughter Carol (Trevor), grandchildren Alex, Taryn (Brad), Steven, Megan & Holland, great-grandchildren Monroe & Oliver, brothers Wilfred (Della) & Donald (Audrey), sisters Ruth, Melva (Tim) & Marie, numerous, nieces, nephews, extended family & good friends. Ernest is predeceased by his parents Alfred & Lucille, 6 brothers & step-son Allen. A viewing will be held on Sunday, July 15, 2012 from 7:00pm until 9:00pm at Assman's Funeral Chapel, 1908 Queensway St. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, July 16, 2012 at 2:00pm at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 887 Patricia Blvd. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses and staff in both the surgical step down unit and ICU at UHNBC. The compassion and support that you gave Ernest and our family cannot be measured in words; especially the care from nurse Laura. Thank you!
