Dianne Mary Altmeyer nee Kotylak It is with great sadness that the family of Dianne Mary Altmeyer wish to announce her passing away peacefully in KGH on September 04, 2012 after a lengthy illness. Dianne was born on October 28, 1944 in Lamont, AB but spent most of her life in Enderby, BC where she graduated and married the love of her life Dennis. Dianne had a great passion for her garden and the many flowers she nurtured there. When the seasons turned cold and the flowers didn't grow outside anymore Dianne brought the blooms to life on her canvas in oils, watercolours and pastels. She also loved to travel to the tropics in the colder months and enjoy endless hours of snorkelling. When she wasn't up to her elbows in the garden she was creating masterpieces in the kitchen that amazed friends and family alike. Dianne is survived by her loving husband Dennis of 47 years, son Jason Altmeyer (grandchildren Holly and Landon), daughter Karyn Norlin (Dean, grandchildren Jayden, Alyssa and Reid), sister Dixie Kotylak (son Nicholas) and many extended family members from across Canada. She was predeceased by her parents Nick and Louise Kotylak and brother Mike Kotylak. Prayers to be held at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, September 7, 2012 at St. Ann's Catholic Church (Hwy 97A, Enderby, BC). Funeral Mass to be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at St. Ann's Catholic Church (Hwy 97A, Enderby, BC). Cremation. Private internment to follow at a later date at Cliffside Cemetery (Enderby, BC). In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Dianne's memory to Kelowna General Hospital Foundation (www.kghfoundation.com) in thanks of the loving support she received.
