DAVID THOMAS HODGSON Dave passed away on July 13, 2012 after a lengthy illness. He was born in Saskatoon on March 12, 1933. Dave was in the Mechanical Contracting business in Saskatchewan and moved to Prince George in 1972 where he continued in the same industry until his retirement in 2001. Dave is survived by his wife Lona of 59 years. Also his son Keith, daughter Patty (Jim), grandson Ryan and sisters Shirley and Evelyn, sister-in-law Joyce and brother-in-law Floyd as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Dave served his term as President of the Prince George Chamber of Commerce. He was also president of the Prince George Rotary Club and a Paul Harris Fellow. He was Past President of the BC Mechanical Contractors Association where he was awarded a life membership, as well as a life affiliate member of the ASHRAE. Dave's greatest pleasure was a deep devotion to his Company, his Industry and service to his community. There will be no funeral service. In recognition of Dave's dedication to his community, the family made a donation to the Kordyban Cancer Lodge as a memorial in his name. Special thanks to the Gould and Willoughby families and to Dr. Sidorov and Northern Health who offered such great support during this time. In lieu of flowers donations in Dave's memory may be made to the Prince George Hospice House or to a charity of your choice.
